As a result of talks with teachers of school #1 and graduates (at the party held in Brooklyn, NY on January 11th) we came out with the proposal (like school 27 had) to help teachers in school #1 who are not as lucky as many of us to live abroad from Ukraine. We decided to collect money and send it over to Kharkov. It is not known yet who is going to be responsible for collecting money but if somebody is interested in helping teachers (in general) or some particular teacher they can send me an e-mail (Michael Podolsky 1991 graduate). (Original proposal came from Yelena Alekseevna Dmitrieva - Mathematics and Physics teacher who lives in Boston at present time)
